From Hope to Opportunity
We believe that when people are supported, heard, and empowered, entire communities grow stronger.
Refugee Sisters United (RSSU) was created with a vision of building safe, empowering, and community-driven spaces for refugees, newcomers, women, and youth across Canada.
What began as an idea rooted in compassion and advocacy has grown into a mission focused on dignity, emotional wellbeing, education, and access to support. RSSU believes that no newcomer should navigate systems, isolation, or hardship alone.
Through community advocacy, legal navigation support, mental health initiatives, youth empowerment programs, and human rights education, RSSU is committed to creating opportunities for individuals and families to rebuild with confidence and belonging.
Our work is centered on connection, empowerment, and creating lasting impact within the communities we serve.
Building spaces where newcomers feel supported, heard, and empowered to thrive.
